Mosquito in Betta breeding tank * damned *
Lessons learned, folks.
Betta fries are too young to devour the mosquito larvaes. So cover the breeding tank tight.
Mosquito net helps to keep the larvaes from flying away, but it apparently does not prevent female mosquitos from entering to lay eggs.
Lately, I have 3 massive attacks of hatched larvaes waiting to escape the net. scare the shit out of me ! wont want to be a dengue spreader. Spread insecticide to eliminate the mosquitos, but I'm afraid some betta were sacrificed in the process too. * weep *
To betta breeders out there, do note ! don't take the moss lightly. those moss kills ! I mean, literally !
